What it does.

A directory platform where campus vendors get a verified listing and buyers find and contact them directly over WhatsApp. It’s live at ucconnect.my.id with 36+ verified vendors and a community forum — real data, real listings, not a mockup.

• Shipped vendor verification, image hosting (Supabase), explore/search, and a community forum.
• Designed it to remove middlemen: buyers reach vendors directly, no added fees.
• Onboarded enough real vendors that the directory is genuinely usable today.

Real users are a different discipline from a demo.

Getting real people’s data into a live product is a different discipline from making it work locally — verification, storage, and trust all become real problems. I learned to design for actual users, and to care about the parts (moderation, verification) that aren’t glamorous but make a platform trustworthy.
